Bucks County is filled with stunning locations for photo sessions, offering everything from lush parks to charming downtown streets. Whether you’re planning engagement photos, family portraits, or a senior session, these five spots provide beautiful backdrops year-round.
1. Washington Crossing Historic Park
With its rich history and scenic views along the Delaware River, Washington Crossing Historic Park is one of my go-to locations for photo sessions. The historic stone buildings, open fields, and iconic bridge create a variety of settings for timeless photos. In the fall, the foliage is breathtaking, while in the spring and summer, the park bursts with greenery and flowers.
2. Tyler State Park
Spanning over 1,700 acres, Tyler State Park offers endless photo opportunities. The rustic covered bridge is a must for portraits, and the trails that wind through the woods and along Neshaminy Creek provide a natural, serene setting. Whether you’re looking for an open field at sunset or a forested backdrop, this park has it all.
3. Core Creek Park
For those looking for a waterfront setting, Core Creek Park is a fantastic choice. Lake Luxembourg reflects the sky beautifully, adding depth and dimension to photos. The park also has wooded trails, open fields, and charming wooden fences that add rustic charm to any session. Sunset sessions here are absolutely stunning!
4. Peace Valley Park
Another perfect location for lakeside portraits, Peace Valley Park surrounds Lake Galena and offers incredible views, especially at golden hour. The mix of waterfront scenery, wildflower fields, and wooded trails makes it a versatile spot for any type of session. It’s also one of my favorite places for engagement shoots, thanks to the dreamy, romantic atmosphere.
5. Downtown New Hope
If you’re looking for a more urban vibe with a touch of history and charm, Downtown New Hope is the place to go. Cobblestone sidewalks, vibrant storefronts, and the scenic view of the Delaware River create a perfect blend of classic and modern backdrops. The streets have an artsy feel, and the bridge connecting to Lambertville, NJ, is a fantastic spot for capturing movement and depth.
No matter the season, these five locations in Bucks County offer something special for every kind of session. If you’re looking to book a shoot and need help choosing the perfect spot, I’d love to chat and find the best location for your vision!
