Alicia and Richie contacted me to shoot thier 2024 Moshulu wedding about a year ago. When I got the inquiry, I was so excited because that is one of my favorite Philadelphia wedding venues. I mean, getting married on a historic ship is pretty awesome, right? When we started discussing the engagement session, Alicia said she wanted it to be special and personalized to them and their story and really wanted to do it where they first met, Union Transfer. I was up to the challenge and think these shots came out beautifully and perfectly reflect their personalities.

In the building, I enjoyed playing with different lighting and flash techniques to capture some pretty interesting shots. The inside of this place is awesome and has such rich history. I wanted these images to embody them and the location itself. Outside, we enjoyed some of the beautiful murals located around this part of Philadelphia. Spring Garden is an interesting and artsy area with a lot of grit and beauty. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do.
