Mary Clare and Matthew celebrated their wedding day at the iconic The Bellevue Hotel, one of Philadelphia’s most recognizable wedding venues and a premier venue in the Cescaphe collection. As a Philadelphia wedding photographer, The Bellevue is always one of my favorite locations to photograph because of its historic architecture, elegant ballrooms, and unbeatable Broad Street views.

The day began with Mary Clare getting ready in one of The Bellevue’s beautiful hotel suites surrounded by her closest friends and family. She wore a timeless satin strapless A-line wedding gown featuring a modern slit in the skirt that perfectly balanced classic elegance with contemporary style. Matthew looked equally sharp in a blue tuxedo that complemented the sophisticated atmosphere of the day.

One of the greatest advantages of hosting a wedding at The Bellevue Hotel is having everything conveniently located in one stunning venue. Guests gathered for the ceremony inside the venue before the couple officially became husband and wife surrounded by family and friends.

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the mezzanine overlooking the grand ballroom below. The elevated views created a unique experience while guests mingled and enjoyed the beautiful architecture that makes this Philadelphia wedding venue so memorable.

For portraits, we explored several locations throughout the venue before heading outside onto Broad Street. No Bellevue wedding would be complete without the classic Philadelphia wedding photo featuring City Hall in the background.
